Dr. Carolyn Vollmer is a board certified, interventional spine Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist who is also board certified in Lifestyle Medicine. In 2024, she was certified as a Lifestyle Medicine Intensivist and is primarily employed by the Lifestyle Medicine specialty practice at Corewell Health (formally Spectrum Health). She continues to provide some physiatric care at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, which are both located in Grand Rapids, MI. She serves as chair of the Fitness and Medicine Member Interest Group for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is the Faculty Advisor for two Lifestyle Medicine Interest Groups, located at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. She is also a mom of four young boys who enjoys burning off energy with them outdoors. Her passion is helping patients, friends and family "plant-sition" their diet.
