Dr. Kristen Soltis-Tyler is a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician as well as a National Noard Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She started her career at U.S. Air Force Academy. After, Kristen went to Georgetown University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Family Medicine at Travis Air Force Base, in Northern CA. Her adventures in the Air Force included being the provider for rapid deploying, intelligence and flying units. In addition, she completed a master's in public health with Global Heath Focus and worked in Global Health Engagements, specifically with African nations. She recently retired from the Air Force after over 20 years of military service. Life experiences led her to discover her passion for bringing a different form of wellness to children and adults through yoga, meditation and mindfulness. As a life-long learner, she came across the Mindful Self-Compassion practice which felt like the missing piece of her yoga, meditation and mindfulness training. Kristen is passionate about being outdoors and travelling with her husband, son and their dog.
