Dr. Cindy Geyer graduated with honors from the Ohio State University and completed residency in internal medicine at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. She is board certified in internal medicine, integrative medicine and lifestyle medicine. A fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, she served on their Board of Directors and currently cochairs the Healthy Aging for Women subcommittee in the Women's Health MIG. She recently joined the team at the Ultrawellness Center after practicing 23 years at Canyon Ranch in Lenox as the medical director of their integrative health and healing team. Dr. Geyer was part of the core faculty for The Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s (CMBM) “Food as Medicine” conference for 20 years, teaching physicians and other health care professionals how to use food and lifestyle to address health concerns in their own lives and those of their patients. She is a nationally recognized speaker, contributed articles to several journals, and serves as the case series editor for the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine. A clinician, educator, avid hiker and mother, she is passionate about collaborative approaches to health and wellness: from the integrative team model in working with individual patients, to community partnerships that together can effect healthy changes in the places people live and work.
